Bandits’ Smith Named ‘Air Canada Wingman’ For Week 4

The National Lacrosse League has announced Buffalo Bandits forward Dhane Smith as the “Air Canada Wingman of the Week” award winner for Week 4 of the 2016 NLL season.

Smith, who posted a league-high nine points (4+5) in Buffalo’s 12-6 home win over the Toronto Rock last Saturday, ranks fifth in the NLL this season in points (22), tied for fifth in goals (9) and sixth in assists (13). Smith has registered at least five points and three assists in all three games played in 2016.

The four-year veteran has scored over 20 goals in each of his first three seasons, highlighted by his 2015 campaign where he recorded 107 points (39+68).
