Discipline Summary: Nll Week 11

The National Lacrosse League has issued a summary of discipline following the league’s review of NLL Week 11 games played on March 13-15.

Buffalo Bandits transition player David Brock and Toronto Rock defenseman Bill Hostrawser have both been suspended two games for a fighting incident with approximately 50 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of their game on Friday, March 13. The two players engaged in a fight following the original fight between Toronto’s Brodie Merrill and Buffalo’s Steve Priolo. Match Penalties were called on the field, and upon league review, the rulings are upheld for violation of Second Fight After The Original Fight (Rule 80.15), with Match Penalties carrying an automatic two-game suspension (Rule 41.2).

Toronto Rock defenseman Patrick Merrill has been assessed an automatic Game Misconduct penalty after receiving two Majors in One Game (Rule 38.2) during Toronto’s game vs. Buffalo on Saturday, March 14.

Buffalo Bandits head coach Troy Cordingley has been assessed a Game Misconduct penalty for violation of Profane Language By Non-Playing Personnel (Rule 94.3) following the Buffalo vs. Toronto game on Friday, March 13.
