Discipline Summary: Nll Week 15

The National Lacrosse League has issued a summary of discipline following official league review of NLL Week 15 games played on April 8-10.

Vancouver Stealth defenseman Matt Beers has been suspended one game after being assessed a major and game misconduct penalty stemming from an Elbowing (Rule 78.2) incident involving Calgary Roughnecks forward Wesley Berg at approximately the 4:05 mark of the third quarter of their game on April 9, 2016. Beers was previously assessed two non-fighting major penalties on January 30. By Accrual of Three Major Penalties in a Season (Rule 40.1), Beers received an automatic game misconduct penalty. In addition, Beers was assessed game misconduct penalties on January 23 and January 30. By accruing a total of three game misconduct penalties this year, Beers has been assessed an automatic one-game suspension for Accrual of Game Misconduct Penalties in a Season (Rule 40.2).
