NLL Named a Finalist for Cynopsis Sports Media Awards

Philadelphia, March 15, 2019 – The National Lacrosse League, the largest men’s indoor professional league, has been named as a finalist for the Cynopsis Sports Media Awards for League of the Year for a Breakthrough Sport.

The Cynopsis Sports Media Awards program is dedicated to celebrating the work of talented producers, hosts, sponsors and executives and saluting the initiatives that drove audiences and turned sports viewers into fans over the past year.

“We are extremely proud of all the contributions everyone has made towards the accomplishments at the League and Team levels over the past year,” said NLL commissioner Nick Sakiewicz. “We all continue to work to make the NLL one of the most innovative and progressive major leagues in the industry. This achievement belongs to everybody associated with the NLL.”

The finalists will be celebrated at the Cynopsis Sports Media Awards Breakfast on Thursday, April 25^th from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the New York Athletic Club in NYC, where the winners will be announced.

The NLL finished as a finalist last year for the Over The Top (OTT) Content Service category.
