NLL Week 6 – POWER RANKINGS

We’re already approaching the quarter point of the National Lacrosse League season as Week 6 is upon us. There’s still a long way to go until playoff time, but there have been a few notable surprises.

The undefeated Colorado Mammoth are straight up overcomers in a year with built in excuses of injury and personnel changes. They’ll face their toughest challenge yet as they host perennial contender Saskatchewan (also 3-0) on Saturday night.

On the other side of the surprise spectrum are Georgia and Vancouver. At 1-3 is this a championship hangover for the Swarm or a cause for concern? What about a Stealth team still hunting for that first victory after finishing second in the West in 2017?

Along with my NLL TV broadcast partner Brian Shanahan, we put together our own power rankings in the chart below and explained why here:

A jam packed NLL schedule welcomes in the weekend with five games on the docket beginning Friday in Toronto as the Rock battles Rochester. There’s no rest for those Knighthawks as they head home the next day to take on New England in another divisional matchup.

Be sure to check back on Friday for our NLL staff game predictions!
