Buffalo Wins Thriller over Colorado in Best of Three Opener in Front of 14,274, Can Take NLL Cup with Win Saturday; ESPN+ and TSN Will Provide Live Coverage

Game Two is Saturday, June 11 at 9 p.m. ET in Denver

PHILADELPHIA, June 5, 2022 – The National Lacrosse League Finals continue with Game 2 on Saturday, June 11, when the Buffalo Bandits, 15-14 winners last night in a thrilling Game 1 in front of a boisterous crowd of 14,274 fans in Buffalo, visit the Colorado Mammoth, beginning at 9 p.m. ET. The contest will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and TSN.

The Bandits’ Tehoka Nanticoke had a huge night with five goals and two assists, and Nick Weiss scored the game winner with 0:51 remaining. Zed Williams added four goals and four assists for the Mammoth who return to the “Loud House” at Ball Arena on Saturday to try to even the series.

A win by Colorado would necessitate a third and deciding NLL Finals contest, which would be held on Saturday, June 18, in Buffalo, at 7:30 p.m., also to be covered by ESPN+ and TSN live. A Buffalo win would give them their first NLL championship since 2008.

The Bandits, the overall #1 seed, finished 14-4 in the regular season, then eliminated Albany and swept Toronto in the East Conference Finals. Colorado, 10-8 during the 2021-22 season to earn the #3 West seed, upended Calgary then edged San Diego in three games in the West Conference Finals to advance.
