National Lacrosse League Announces Honig’s as the Official Referee Outfit Supplier

Honig’s set to become the official Referee Supplier of the NLL

The National Lacrosse League (NLL), the largest men’s professional indoor lacrosse league in North America, announced today a new partnership with Honig’s, the leading official and referee apparel company in the United States and Canada.

Honig’s, headquartered in Denver, Colo., home of the Colorado Mammoth, will provide referees with official game day equipment, including jerseys, pants, warm up jackets and shoes.

“Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States, and we are proud to partner with the National Lacrosse League, which is the largest indoor league in North America,” Greg Wilson, CEO of Honig’s said. “Honig’s has led the way in officiating apparel for over 30 years, and our goal is simple: ensure that officials look and feel great on the turf – and we are excited to watch NLL officials walk on the turf every game in the best apparel in the industry.”

This partnership with Honig’s marks the 15th partnership announcement from the League since November 2016. The NLL has signed deals with various equipment providers, technology companies and charitable organizations in the past year. The most recent of which being CBS Sports Digital, Covo Drinkware and Signature Lacrosse, all announced this past month.

The addition of Honig’s will add to NLL’s ability to outfit the officials in the best gear on the market. Over 50 officials on staff have received their apparel for the upcoming 2017-2018 regular season which is set to begin this evening, Friday, December 8th.

“Honig’s is the leading force in the industry for officiating apparel, and we are delighted to add them into the fold as one of our league partners,” said NLL Commissioner Nick Sakiewicz. “This multifaceted partnership continues the growth of our league, provides our officials with high-performance apparel and creates a new piece of weekly content for our fans.”
