National Lacrosse League Releases Combine Schedule

Combines will be held in Denver and Oakville

The National Lacrosse League (NLL), the largest and most successful lacrosse property in the world, today announced two combine locations in advance of the 2019 NLL Draft. These combines will be held on both sides of North America to find the next great box lacrosse players.

The addition of regional combines last season created easier access for a larger prospect pool to be noticed by NLL teams, and allowed teams the opportunity to create unprecedented depth on their draft boards to hopefully identify their future franchise players. The 2019 Combines will build upon this mission by bringing a Combine to the home of the burgeoning Colorado Collegiate Box Lacrosse League to shine a light on some of the best US box lacrosse prospects.

The Combine will also return to the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre, where many of the game’s most promising prospects annually compete and prove their worth in front of NLL scouts, coaches, and general managers.

“The Combines are essential for our teams to identify talent and complete their rosters through the entry draft,” said VP Lacrosse Operations, Brian Lemon. “Continuing to reach different locations across the continent enables more players to gain exposure and broadens the talent pool for our teams. We are excited to come to the home of the Colorado Collegiate Box Lacrosse League and showcase some of the best US college box players.”

The NLL will hold combines at the following locations:

Each combine will encompass one full day and consist of a practice run by NLL team coaching staffs, a game played by NLL Rules, and the opportunity for teams to meet with potential draftees and free agents. Top professional lacrosse coaches and scouts will attend both combines along with select college and top club coaches. Both participants and team personnel will have full access to practice and game film.

A fee will be secured at the time of registration. To review draft eligibility rules Click Here. For the Colorado Combine, a $50 rebate will be given to Combine participants who are registered to play in an NCBS league in Summer 2019.
