NLL Announces 2024-25 General Manager of the Year and Les Bartley Award Winners

Derek Keenan named General Manager of the Year; Jimmy Quinlan earns Les Bartley Award

PHILADELPHIA, May 14, 2025 – The National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced two major award winners as part of its 2024-25 season honors. Saskatchewan Rush general manager Derek Keenan has been named NLL General Manager of the Year for the fourth time. The nine-time league champion previously earned the honor in 2014, 2010, and 2006 with Edmonton and Portland, and was a finalist in 2017 and 2018 with Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Rush coach Jimmy Quinlan has been named the Les Bartley Award winner for the first time in his career. The award, formerly known as Head Coach of the Year until 2004, was renamed in honor of Les Bartley, the most successful coach in NLL history. Quinlan, whose number 81 is retired from his playing days, led the Rush to a 13-5 record in the regular season, five more wins than the previous year, and returned Saskatchewan to the playoffs for the first time in six years.

Additional NLL award winners will be announced tomorrow and Friday.
