The National Lacrosse League (NLL) and Krossover, the leading sports film analysis and statistics company, announced today an extension to their partnership as the “Official Game Breakdown Partner.” This will mark the third consecutive season of the partnership.
National Lacrosse League game film is analyzed using the Krossover platform, and provides each team high-level analytics, team data and player performance insights. The platform will also be used by league administration and officials throughout the season.
“In addition to being a critical tool for teams, coaches and player analysis, Krossover has been a valuable tool for developing our referees and improving the quality of our officiating,” said Brian Lemon, VP of Lacrosse Operations for the NLL. “Our ability to cut and share clips with telestrations has allowed us to create a deep reference library of various game situations, and the ability for officials to create personal reels further engages them into their year-round prep.”
“Lacrosse continues to be a sport of focus for Krossover and the NLL has been a tremendous partner to Krossover and Stack Sports over the past two seasons,” said Eric Perugini, Vice President of Stack Sports. “We’re genuinely excited to continue our partnership and work the NLL to be an ambassador of the sport of lacrosse.”
As part of the agreement, Krossover will offer technology for coaches to review film, scout opponents, and catalog players throughout the year to evaluate player development. The NLL is the most recent Krossover partnership extension in lacrosse, joining the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association.
