Joining his third team in as many seasons in the NLL, Jean-Luc Chetner is looking forward to being a member of a winning culture again.  Before breaking into the NLL, Chetner was a member of the Israeli National Team where he helped lead the team to a gold medal in the European Box Lacrosse Championships in 2017 while earning MVP and First-Team All-Europe honors. He played collegiately at Richmond University where he logged 82 total points in just 45 games for the Spiders while earning All-Conference honors in his junior season. He played his fifth year of eligibility at Towson University, leading the Tigers with 32 total points.

Chetner was drafted into the NLL by the Vancouver Warriors ahead of the 2018-19 season. The next season, he was selected by the New York Riptide in the league’s expansion draft. During his two-year stint in the league, Chetner has racked up 49 points in 22 career games. The forward says playing in the NLL has been the most fun he has ever had playing lacrosse and he cannot wait to come to a new city and compete for a championship during the team’s first season in the league.
